Global Universal
Entertainment, (GUE), a Los Angeles based film production company,
and a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Universal, will focus its
efforts on U.S. film production of feature length films utilizing
pre-certified tax credits and/or other film production incentives
from States such as Louisiana and Michigan. Louisiana offers up
to 25% of the film’s production cost, plus an additional 10%
on Louisiana labor, while Michigan offers a tax rebate of up to
42% of each film’s final cost.
Both Global Universal Entertainment and Global Universal Pictures
have the added advantage of owning the scripts for the first four
films planned for production. Such proprietary ownership significantly
reduces film development costs reducing the time necessary to move
from development to production.
Both Global Universal Entertainment and Global Universal Pictures
will start with one of the many well-written screenplays it has
in its library, and, with its team of experienced professionals
“behind the camera”, produce quality feature films with
recognizable, named talent. The final product, a professionally
made feature length film, will then be distributed to audiences
around the world.
