Global Universal Film Group, Inc. (“Global Universal” or the
“Company’) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a publicly traded
company, Global Entertainment Holdings (GBHL: OTC). Global
Universal specializes in the production and distribution of
“niche” films, related books, merchandising and music rights.
The Company provides its investors with a unique investment
opportunity in the multi-billion dollar film and entertainment
industry. The Company was formed by entertainment industry
executives, whose industry experience spans over three decades.
The Company’s President, Jackelyn Giroux, is well known in
the film industry, and has the vision and expertise to execute
the Company’s business plan.
The Company intends to rapidly become a premier provider and
financier in the Entertainment Industry by producing and distributing
motion picture films, DVD’(s) packaged with original manuscripts
(books), music publishing and merchandising. The Company intends
to retain a majority of the rights for worldwide marketing.
The Company has developed a sophisticated financing strategy,
over a period of years, which significantly reduces investor
risk of producing films, maximizes shareholder value and generates
early revenues with minimal infrastructure and corporate overhead.
Global Universal’s management is skilled at structuring co-production
partnerships between two or more countries. Each country contributes
government tax incentives, as well as other financial considerations,
in exchange for the rights to a particular film in their respective
countries. These tax incentives are then monetized, along
with commitments from one or more distributors, through the
Company’s bank. The “shortfall” after banking the incentives
and distribution agreements is typically 20% to 30% of the
film’s budget, which is provided by a third-party investor.
Because of these reasons, Global Universal Film Group is
able to develop and produce low-cost, high-quality commercial
films that attract strong, "bankable" talent and
is partnering with industry giants such as Starz Media to
handle worldwide distribution.
